For Leah, growing up in New Smyrna Beach Florida, meant a childhood full of fun in the sun! Her father owned multiple restaurants when she was a child and she also comes from family of performers. Because of this upbringing, artistic outlets such as writing and music played a large role in her adolescence.
Leah attended Rollins College in the heart of Winter Park, a school with a focus on arts and communication. Volunteering as a DJ at WPRK, the Rollins College radio station exposed Leah to new artistic outlets and business opportunities. She interned for Clear Channel Communications during her senior year and learned the ins-and-outs of the challenging yet rewarding world of radio.
After graduating from Rollins College she took on a position as a Commercial Insurance Specialist for a privately owned insurance agency in Winter Park. She balances her high-pressure job with a daily power yoga practice and a glass of wine. In her spare time Leah also dabbles in some freelance writing for 407 Apartments.com and other local businesses.
Leah is a local Orlando expert because she has resided throughout the Orlando area for nearly twenty years. From Metrowest to the UCF area and everywhere in between, she has called many of Orlando's prime locations her home.
