Top Apartments in Maitland, FL

Maitland

Maitland is a suburb located in North Orlando that locals love because it is well connected by highways like Maitland Boulevard and I-4. There are a ton of apartments in Maitland to choose from, ranging from brand new luxury to more well-established communities that have been in the area for years. The area is known for its community feel, local restaurants, and parks. Maitland is quickly growing with a ton of new development in the area including apartments, shopping, and restaurants due to the recent I-4 project and Maitland Boulevard's completion.

Maitland is becoming a popular area for new residents moving to Orlando, as many local employers are headquartered here. Digital Risk, CNA Insurance, and ADP's Maitland location are just a few that call Maitland home.

Things to Do around Apartments in Maitland

  • RDV Sportsplex is Orlando's Premier gym and fitness center offering fitness classes, training and sports programs, and our team's favorite - an ice skating rink! Even if you're not a gym buff, you can head to RDV's Ice Den for date night to take advantage of their open skate times on the weekends - we highly recommend the hot chocolate!

  • Lake Lily Park is a great place for a quick outdoor workout, picnic by the lake, or to get your kids out of the house to enjoy some Orlando sunshine during a trip to the playground. The Farmer's Market at Lake Lily Park is especially popular and takes place every Sunday from 9:00am-2:00pm. Vendors set up throughout the park with fresh produce, local goods, and handmade items for sale. Check out their Facebook to stay up to date on upcoming Farmer's Market dates.

  • The Enzian Theater is a single screen theater cafe and home to the Florida Film Festival. This quirky Orlando gem offers small showings nightly for a rotating selection of films. You can check out their current and upcoming programming at Enzian.org. We recommend arriving early to be sure that you get a seat in the small theater and to come hungry, as the theater's Eden Bar has some yummy options!

What to Look for in Maitland Apartments

As the landscape of Maitland changes due to the recent I-4 Ultimate project, we're seeing a ton of new apartment developments popping up along Maitland Boulevard. Brand new apartment options range from garden-style apartments with beautiful lake views to more city-style apartments with elevators and a plethora of ground floor retail options like Starbucks and restaurants. Newer apartments in the area boast modern features like wood-style flooring, gorgeous kitchens with granite counter tops, and huge walk-in closets.

Most apartments in the Maitland area offer typical apartment amenities like pools, fitness centers, and clubhouses but you'll want to look out for perks like elevators, parking garages, and concierge services.

We urge you to think about your morning commute when touring apartments in Maitland! You might consider checking Google maps to see what traffic looks like during a typical morning commute in Maitland Boulevard and I-4 traffic. Just simply choosing an apartment 1 mile closer to highway entrances could save you 10-20 minutes on your daily commute to and from work.
